A scientist, educator and administrator, Dr. Castillo has contributed vital research information in the improvement of the livestock and poutry industries as in animal nutrition and management. He was also instrumental in carrying out innovative research training and extension programs in diary development among small farmers which included health care delivery system and family planning as components of an outreach activity.
